OmniView [RGB Spectrum]

OmniView is an extremely flexible system for displaying, recording, andtransmitting signals from multiple video sources. It is designed tomonitor multiple camera signals on a high scan rate display, with up tofour times the resolution of an ordinary video monitor, while recordingon single video tape recorder or transmitting on a single channel.OmniView combines a sophisticated multiplexor/demultiplexor with aflexible, user-configurable multiwindow display architecture. The systemaccepts NTSC (RS-170) or PAL (CCIR) video signals, which can beasynchronous; no genlock is required. OmniView displays up to fifteenvideo inputs in monochrome windows. Each window can be independentlypositioned and smoothly scaled from 1/64 to a full screen.OmniView functions as a standalone multiplexor/demultiplexor or as partof a computer system, and can share a computer's color or grayscalemonitor.Applications include surveillance, training, human factors, engineering,robotics, and video teleconferencing.
